Dear Member Units of the League of Tropical Universities (LTU):

To strengthen communication and cooperation among youth leaders in the tropical regions and deepen their understanding of the innovative development of the Hainan Free Trade Port, Hainan University plans to hold the "Tropical Youth Leadership Camp" in Hainan Province, China, from April 13th to 18th, 2025. We sincerely invite member units of the League of Tropical Universities to select and send students to actively participate.

Hainan University, Wenchang Commercial Space Launch Site, China (Hainan) South China Sea Museum, etc.

IV. Event Content

1. Opening Ceremony for the League of Tropical Universities 2025 Summit;

2. Presidents' Panel Talk for the League of Tropical Universities 2025 Summit and Youth Leaders' Dialogue;

3. Visits to innovation hubs, cultural venues, and educational institutions in the Hainan Free Trade Port etc.;

4. Exchange and interaction with youth leaders from around the world.

V. Registration

Each member unit of the League of Tropical Universities can recommend students to participate in the event based on their actual situation. Please fill out the Registration Form in the attachment and send it to ce-sie@hainanu.edu.cn by March 15th, 2025. The final list of accepted participants will be announced by Hainan University after review. Hainan University will cover the accommodation, meals, and transportation expenses of the admitted students during the event in Hainan.
