热区高校联盟访问学者申请指南

Application Guide for Visiting Scholars of the League of Tropical Universities

为了更好地促进热区高校联盟建设，鼓励联盟成员优秀青年学者到海南大学开展联合科学研究，现面向热区高校联盟 2025 年会参会成员招收青年教学科研工作者来校访问学习 3-6 个月。

To better promote the development of the League of Tropical Universities (LTU) and encourage outstanding young scholars from the LTU members to conduct joint scientific research at Hainan University, applications are now open for young teaching and research professionals attending the LTU 2025 Summit to visit and study at the university for 3-6 months.

一、培养目标

I. Training Objectives

访问学者在指导教师（以下简称“导师”）的指导下，瞄准学科前沿和关键领域，通过学习和研究工作，提高教学科研水平和社会服务能力，增强创新意识。

Under the guidance of a supervisor, visiting scholars will study and research on cutting-edge disciplines and key areas to enhance their teaching and research capabilities, improve their ability to serve society, and strengthen their innovative mindset.

二、接收对象

II. Eligibility Criteria

1.身体健康，品行端正，在国籍国或常驻国无犯罪记录，有良好的职业道德，遵守中国法律法规和海南大学规章制度，尊重中国文化和风俗习惯；

1. Applicants must be in good health and of good character, with no criminal record in their country of nationality or permanent     residence. They should uphold professional ethics, comply with Chinese laws and regulations, adhere to Hainan University’s rules and policies, and respect Chinese culture and customs.

2.基础理论和专业知识扎实，有较强的独立从事教研工作的能力，并具备一定的实践经验与创新意识，能够胜任合作研究工作；

2. Applicants must have a solid foundation in theoretical and professional knowledge, demonstrate strong independent teaching    and research capabilities, and possess practical experience and an innovative mindset to be competent in collaborative research.

3.原则上应具有博士学位或讲师（或相当职级）及以上职称，年龄不超过 45 周岁；

3. In principle, applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree or a lecturer-level (or equivalent) academic title or higher, and be under 45 years old.

4.能够使用汉语或英语完成学术交流及课程学习。

4. Applicants must be able to conduct academic exchanges and coursework in either Chinese or English.

三、访问学者待遇

III. Benefits for Visiting Scholars

1.在校期间提供校内住宿，免收校内住宿费。

1. On-campus accommodation will be provided free of charge.

2.在华期间，按人民币税前 2500 元/月的标准发放生活费，以后补助的形式在结业考核通过后一次性发放。

2. A living allowance of RMB 2,500 per month (pre-tax) will be provided during their stay in China. The allowance will be disbursed in a lump sum after they pass the final assessment.

3.为访问学者购买商业保险。

3. Commercial insurance will be provided during their stay in China.

四、申报流程

IV. Application Process

1.申请人按照要求向学校提供申请材料，发邮件至shenjie@hainanu.edu.cn，邮件名称以“LTU 访问学者申请+姓名+国籍+专业”命名。

1. Applicants must submit the required application materials to Hainan University via email to shenjie@hainanu.edu.cn. The email subject should be formatted as “LTU Visiting Scholar Application + Name + Nationality + Major”.

截止时间：2025 年 6 月 30 日

  Deadline: June 30, 2025.

2.由导师、所在学院组织面试通过后，由主管部门报学校审核，学校同意后，向申请人发放接受访学通知书。

2. After an interview with the supervisor and the respective college, the relevant department will submit the application for university approval. Upon approval, an admission notice will be issued to the applicant.

3.导师协助其准备签证材料，国际合作交流处为申请人协助办理来华工作签证。

3. The supervisor will assist applicants in preparing the necessary visa documents, and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange will help them obtain a work visa for China.

4.来校报到。在国际合作交流处签署国外访问学者承诺书或协议，在人事处办理报到登记手续。

4. Upon arrival at Hainan University, applicants must sign a Foreign Visiting Scholar Commitment Letter or Agreement at the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and complete the registration procedures at the Personnel Office.

五、申报材料

V. Application Materials

1.护照扫描件；

1. A scanned copy of passport.

2.海南大学国外访问学者申请表；

2. Hainan University Foreign Visiting Scholar Application Form.

3.《外国人体格检查记录》(由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制)扫描件；

3. A scanned copy of Foreigner Physical Examination Record (printed by Chinese health and quarantine authorities).

4.联盟单位出具的推荐信函扫描件，含在职信息（需体现职称/职务、最高学历学位）；

4. A scanned copy of the recommendation letter from the applicant’s institution, including employment details (title/position and highest academic degree obtained).

5.最高学历学位证书及其认证（在境外高校获取的最高学历需提供大使馆认证或海牙认证）扫描件；

5. A scanned copy of the highest academic degree certificate and its authentication (embassy authentication or Hague Apostille is  required for degrees obtained from overseas universities);

6.语言能力证明，汉语水平需达到 HSK 四级以上，或英语水平雅思 6.0 或托福 78 分以上（母语为英语或英语为授课语言的学校可不做要求）。

6. Language proficiency proof: at least HSK Level 4 for Chinese or IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 78 for English (native English speakers or those from institutions where English is the language of instruction are exempt from this requirement).

六、培养与管理

VI．Training and Management

1.访问学者工作实行导师负责制，以参加科研为主；经 导师和所在学院同意后，可协助参加指导研究生、编写教材或其他教学工作。根据科研工作需要，经导师批准，每学期 可申请选听 1-2 门相关的专业课程。

1. The visiting scholar program operates under the supervisor responsibility system, with research as the primary focus. Upon approval from the supervisor and the respective college, visiting scholars may assist in supervising graduate students, compiling teachingmaterials, or engaging in other teaching activities. Scholars may also apply to audit 1-2 relevant specialized courses per semester if needed for research, subject to supervisor approval.

2.访问学者到校后由导师协助制定个人工作计划，并于来校报到后两周内提交《访问学者工作计划表》。

2. Upon arrival, the supervisor will assist visiting scholars in creating a personal work plan, which should be submitted within two weeks after registration using the Visiting Scholar Work Plan Form.

3.访问学者访学期满提交《结业考核表》。

3. At the end of the visit, visiting scholars must submit the Final Assessment Form.

4.访问学者应在华完成工作计划任务，特殊情况需回国 应提前向学校请假，回国期间停发生活费，不足整月的按实际在华天数发放。

4. Visiting scholars are required to complete the tasks outlined in their work plan while in China. If special circumstances require them to return to their home country, they must request leave from Hainan University in advance. The living allowance will be suspended during the leave period and shall be calculated based on the actual number of days spent in China if the visit is less than a month.

5.访问学者在校工作期间应遵守学校的规章制度，不认真履行研修计划的，表现不良或因其他原因不宜继续进行访问学者工作的，学校可取消其访问学者资格。

5. Visiting scholars must comply with Hainan University’s rules and policies during their stay. If they fail to fulfill their research plan, exhibit poor conduct, or are otherwise deemed unsuitable to continue the program, the university may revoke their visiting scholar status.
